Dear Exhibitor,
We have the of inviting you to the 2012 Nice Shoulder Course –an international 3-day shoulder course covering arthroscopic and prosthetic surgery from June 7 to June 9, 2012.
This course, which is intended to be both theoretical and practical, will be held at the Palais de la Méditerranée – a famous site facing the sea on the Promenade des Anglais in the center of Nice.
About 600 participants are expected to attend; the official language will be English.
Topics will address all facets of shoulder surgery. The program includes lectures by leading shoulder surgeons, a knot tying workshop, round table discussions, live surgery sessions and workshops on cadaveric specimen and plastic models.
At the end of each session, time for discussion will be allocated and a case will be presented. Audience participation will be solicited, followed by a vote in hopes of reaching a consensus.
This year we will have a special feature: on June 9, the whole day will be dedicated to the complications of shoulder athroplasty and how to avoid them. A book will be published following the meeting including all interventions.
The principle of this course is to treat large subjects and to open the way for a free exchange of ideas between “shoulder surgery experts” and the audience on concepts based on their experience, without neglecting scientific evidence.
